The hike was still fun though.
We found a few random leftover patches of snow (hard as ice, but still exciting for our snow-deprived Houston kids).
Snowball (ice) fights were inevitable. So, to avoid any personal discomfort, I suggested that the kids throw some snowballs at their uncles. Hehe.
Uncle Adrian, getting all of the action, yelled out, "Hey, you know you've got two uncles!"
At another patch, the kids focused on Uncle Allen.
Until he fought back.
After lunch in Julian, we were escorted part of the way home by a parade of motorcycle cops (at least 10).
The next day we hit the beach in Coronado (where Adel and I got engaged 11 years before).
Yay, SO. Cal. sand!
The uncles dug some holes.
And filled them in with the kids.
Followed by some sand.
Then the kids tried to escape. Abby wasn't buried too deep so she got out easily.
Isaac was much deeper and, wiggle though he did, he couldn't get out without help.
It was pretty hilarious to watch him try though.
Later that night, Isaac got a Pares-Pares lesson from Lola. Soon he'll be joining in.

Great pictures and videos! Looks like you are having so much fun and maximizing your time in Cali. We are having our own fun, but somehow it pales in comparison! Trying not to be too jealous!!!
