So I started my morning with an early morning guided power walk through California Adventure park. It was neat to see the "behind the scenes" of the park, including the streets and walkways lined with delivery, cleaning, and maintenance trucks who sneak in before opening to get "show ready" for the guests. Adel took this picture from the hotel room window of me heading out .
Finally, the moment the kids have been waiting for! We spent the entire morning in the Fantasyland area.
Walking through Sleeping Beauty's castle. Abby was a little scared.
In line for our first ride, Peter Pan.
I love the look on Abby's face as the Peter Pan boat lifts into the air over London.
Haha. I love their faces as they try to become king of Camelot.
Casey Junior's coming down the tracks...
Dumbo
Carousel
Getting dizzy on the teacups.
Storybook Village boat ride.
After It's a Small World (which was Abby's favorite ride because it was all sparkle and music, and no scary parts!), we got in line for the Disney Princess Faire. We waited...
...and waited.
And finally our moment arrived. Abby got to see Ariel,
Belle,
And Jasmine.
As we rode the train back to the hotel for lunch, Abby said seeing the princesses was her favorite part (so I guess it was worth the looooong wait).
Now we are back in the rooms for naps. Round 2 will begin in Tomorrowland.
