Cruisin!

This year, I was hoping to plan a getaway trip for Adel and I for our tenth anniversary.  One conversation with friends settled the deal: a group cruise out of Galveston!  We have been on 2 cruises before, and the last time, we decided we wouldn't cruise again unless we went with friends.

Bingo.

Chandra got picked to play a TV trivia game show. 

She was awesome!

 The couples did their own thing during the day, but we ate dinner together in the dining room every night.

 10 years later. 

Shannon's birthday fell on the second night, which was also formal night.

We brought some extra silliness on board for the occasion.

And Shannon shared her accessories.

I have no idea what song we sang here, but our faces pretty much explain how "awesome" we were. 

The silliness continued, as we sang and danced everyone else out of the room. 

Saturday was beach day at Cozumel. 

I had so much fun shell collecting. 

It rained during lunchtime. 

Such a cozy little rainstorm.

After the rain, we hit the pool.

And we were sent off with a goodbye from the iguana.

The second half of the cruise, we caught up on sleep and had more fun with friends, but we were missing the kids (this is the longest we've ever been apart!) and ready to be home too.  Now, we're back, and trying to stop the room from swaying as if we're still on the ship.  Thanks, friends, for making our 10 anniversary special.  And thanks Mimi, for loving on the kids while we were gone.
