Briana is making progress with her piano lessons! She can play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star now!
Isaac got to go to work with Dad. Gaming while Dad works!
Ran into our buddies at work!
This is what happens when she does her own hair.
Fourth of July. Did you know that we have an extended foster family?! This is them and we love them so much and are very thankful for them! The three of our families share this sibling group of six kids and it has been amazing to see how God ordained the perfect fit family for each child or group of kids. We do birthdays and some holidays together and do a family playdate or dinner once a week. These kids are never hurting to see their biological siblings and are very confident and comfortable with the way they are all in separate homes and yet still very much still all family. Such an amazing, happy part of our adoption story, that we get to be adopted into a bigger family!
The Dun's with Baby Fe
Of course you know our clan!
The Maddocks Family with B&J's bio sisters Allie, Brenda, and Samantha and their two biological daughters, Sylvia and Stephanie.
All our kids! Amazing how many sisters Isaac has now! Hahahaha! He's so thankful for JJ!
The bio siblings! Love them!
My favs!
I got Isaac and Abby a mystery letter program this summer. Each week they get a letter that continues the story and has ongoing challenges for them to solve. Isaac's was spy themed.
Abby's was pirate themed.
Abby turned B into a flower. I love her creativity!
Ice cream with DD and Papa!
And we got our nails done with them too! Special day!
Love them!
Enjoying a rare peaceful moment
I loved seeing our Creek Kids volunteers doing what they do so well out in the community for kids at Kidz Dayz camp. So proud of them!
Dress up fun with our foster friend.
Adel being awesome and replacing a broken part in our dryer. Isaac learning to be awesome from his Dad.
We played the Oregon Trail card game and we all died! Abby died one space from the end. It was hilarious!
We enjoyed a one-night getaway with just the big kids to the new Marriott hotel that's next to Adel's work. First we shopped at Phoenicia Market of course.
That's Adel's work building behind them. We could see the Marriott pool from the top floor windows...the pool is a lazy river shaped like Texas!
After swimming, we went back to our room to enjoy a movie. The kids picked African Queen, one of my favorites and they actually liked it! I was so happy!
July 17 was a very sad day for us. My young cousin, Jennifer lost her battle with Leukemia. My family was there with her and it was peaceful but oh so sad to lose her so young. We gathered as a family at my mom's house later to look at pictures and celebrate Jennifer's life. Though she was young, she lived well and I am so very thankful for the many friends and experiences she had. We love and miss you always, Jennifer, and look forward to hugging your neck again one day when this big story ends.
Her brothers and best friends
Sweet family time
