Abby got to wear three different costumes this Halloween. First, came the character parade at school. That's her teacher, as Mother Goose.
Abby was the Blue Fairy from Pinoccio.
My photographer friend, Celeste, took this picture of Abby. I love it so much. This captures her sweetness so well. Pretty girl!
Then it was the school's trunk or treat. Abby was a ballerina and Isaac, wanting to be unique, was a lamp.
He got so much attention with his lampshade that he declared he would be a lamp for Halloween trick or treating too (never mind the months we've been talking Harry Potter).
We went with Celeste and her sweet boys to the trunk or treat.
Best buds.
Ballerina got a ride back to the car from a friendly pirate.
On Halloween, Isaac stayed true to his lamp dreams, and we talked Abby into going along.
Mom and Dad had to fit with the theme so we made ourselves a bed set, with pillows attached to our night caps and the lamps on the side.
But it was too hot for the blanket!..and of course, the kids did not stay standing next to us...so mostly no one knew what we were! Ah, the trouble of genius.
Our fun Halloween friends.
