Hop in the car and drive the long,
uneventful road
Stop over for Chick Fil-a's cow appreciation day
And arrive in Lubbock for more cousin fun!

Luke still has the size advantage.

Double Feature...Minions and Inside Out
The next morning, we woke the kids up early (after a late night) to be extras in Uncle Matt's commercial.
It was fun to see Uncle Matt at work and in his element.
They were supposed to be sick kids at in the hospital waiting room and since they were tired and disheveled, I think we pulled it off!
The rest of our visit, us moms were busy at work in Robin's room, while the kids had the run of the house.
Robin is amazingly creative and was so sweet to help us make special "fish extenders" for our thanksgiving family cruise (shhhh)
She also helped us make little goodies for us to give the ladies in our family once we're there.
An ornament for each family
And shirts for everyone
We kept thanking her because we would have never been able to do all this without her. But she kept insisting she was having a blast, and was almost as excited as if she had been going herself. That girl loves to travel. (Her travel blog is Have Kids Will Travel)
After two days there, we hopped back in the car for the drive home. Only, we were missing one person...Isaac. We left him behind (on purpose) to spend some more quality time with Luke and Ellie, and to experience his first ever unaccompanied flight home.
He did have a wonderful extra few days with the cousins
And then did a fantastic job on the flight home.
I didn't get a great picture but he was so proud of himself.
Aunt Lindsay said it looks like he's shooting a laser from his halo.
